Bushcraft
Unleash the wilderness within and discover the ancient art of survival with our Bushcraft sessions.
Led by experienced and passionate outdoor enthusiasts at Safe and Sound, students will learn essential practical survival skills and techniques for living off the land.
Perfect for schools, these session are all about interactive learning and will teach students the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the great outdoors, while emphasising the importance of sustainability and the Leave No Trace principles.
Activities include:
- Fire building
- Campcraft & cooking.
- Building shelters using natural materials
- Foraging
- Tool use and hand carving wood
- And more!
This session is designed to be both educational and fun and is tailored to meet the needs, interests and abilities of your students. We provide all necessary equipment and gear, so all you need to do is show up ready for adventure. Plus, there’s marshmallows!
