River Bugs
Get ready for an adrenaline rush with a River Bugging session at Safe and Sound Outdoors.
River Bugging is a unique and fun-filled way for students to experience the thrill of navigating the rapids and whitewater of the river on their own in a "bug" - a one-person inflatable craft. Our experienced instructors at Safe and Sound will provide all the necessary training and equipment, ensuring that your students have a safe and exciting adventure on the River Dee. Our standard River Bugging sessions are suitable for confident swimmers aged 12 up, looking for a way to play on the river but with a little bit more excitement.
We use a stretch of river that provides challenge and fun in equal measure - with gentle sections for fun and games, as well as whirling eddies and even some rapids to tackle which will test their balance, coordination and courage!
